Hi there! I’m Chantell Boissiere Kelly, the proud owner of Capital Ice Cream. Creating delightful ice cream desserts and fostering a sense of community are my passions. I believe in the power of bringing people together, and there’s no better way to do that than over a delicious scoop of ice cream!

Our new indoor seating area is as whimsical and welcoming as our outdoor patio, and either one is the perfect spot to enjoy your ice cream. Whether you’re catching up with friends or just taking a moment for yourself, we want you to feel at home.

We’re very involved in community outreach, exemplified by our Kindness Cone program. This initiative allows customers to purchase ice cream cones at a discounted rate to be given to those in need, often accompanied by sweet or encouraging notes. We also participate in fundraisers and collaborate with other organizations to support important causes. 

I’m deeply committed to Hartford and the greater Connecticut area. Through Capital Ice Cream, I strive to highlight all the amazing places to visit in our state. I want to help position Hartford and Connecticut as must-see destinations, brimming with charm and character.
